Hey Guys! This week are working on getting our websites updated (remember those?). We also are going to upload Common Assessment #1 and Common Assessment #2 to our websites (if you've not already done so). I've enclosed the directions for each assessment below too (just in case you want to edit your final submissions).
Uploading Images to your Website
1. login to your weebly by going http://students.weebly.com
2. click on "edit site"
3. Click on the "My Art" tab
4. Drag over the gallery element from the left-hand side
5. Click on the gallery that now appears on your page
6. Click on "upload images from your computer"
7. go to "STUdrive," "handouts", "zschaber" and then "VA COMP"
8. Choose the "12.01.14" folder
9. Choose the images that are yours and click "ok"
10. Your images should appear on your page

PART I
Answer these questions in complete sentences in a Word document:
1. Who is the influencing artist and why was/is their work important (3-5 sentences)?
2. What is similar about your work and the artist's work? What is different? (2-5 sentences; consider style, media -what you/Picasso made the art with-, subject matter, purpose, and outside influence).
3. Do you think the artist would have liked your work? Why or why not? (2-4 sentences)
PART II
Take your answers from PART I and use them to make one of the following (to publish on your website)
- a written 3 paragraph essay
- a compare/contrast chart (venn diagram)
- a powerpoint or similar presentation

Visit your classmate's portfolios on the right-hand side of this page. Find an artwork a peer has created that speaks to you in some manner. Right-click and save this image to your student drive. Remember to label the image with the original artist's name.
PART II
Download the Art Criticism Template under this text. It should open in PowerPoint. Go through the directions and answer all of the questions. You will need to insert the copy of peer's artwork from Part I. Save the PowerPoint to your
